Permanent Makeup

Shadow and/or Ombre Brow are two forms of permanent makeup. Cosmetic tattooing, also known as permanent makeup, has a rich history that dates back thousands of years. Ancient cultures such as Egypt, where both men and women used pigments to enhance their appearance, practiced techniques similar to modern-day cosmetic tattooing. In recent decades, cosmetic tattooing has gained popularity as a convenient and long-lasting solution for enhancing eyebrows, lips, and other facial features.

There are two main methods used in permanent makeup application: the hand method and the machine method. The hand method known as manual shading or SofTap method, involves using a handheld tool with fine needles to manually deposit pigment into the skin. On the other hand, the machine method uses a permanent makeup machine, similar to those used for body tattoos, to insert pigment into the skin. This method allows for more consistent and faster application, making it suitable for larger areas and achieving solid or gradient effects.

Shadow Brow

A Shadow creates a soft backdrop to your natural brow. If you love the look of a full, powdered-in eyebrow, then a Shadow Brow or Ombre Brow is for you!

Ombre Brow

An ombre brow is similar to a shadow brow, but with the color gradually getting darker towards the bottom and tail of the brow. This creates a subtly defined eyebrow.

Shadow vs Microblading

Microblading and Shadow Brow are two popular techniques for enhancing eyebrows, but they differ in their approach and final results. Shadow brow involves using a tattoo machine to create a soft powdered effect, resulting in fuller and denser-looking brows. This technique is suitable for those who desire a more defined and filled-in brow appearance. On the other hand, microblading uses a handheld tool with fine needles to create precise hair-like strokes, mimicking the natural look of individual eyebrow hairs. It is ideal for creating a more subtle and realistic eyebrow enhancement, particularly for those with sparse or thin brows Our technicians can help you decide which procedure is best for you during a free consultation.
